In our inaugural year Karina Carielo won best actress for the role in her film "Just Business Nothing Personal" which she also wrote and produced and was crowned Fiesta SATX Film Festival Queen.

 

Kalen Austin won Best Actor for the role in his film The Marathon which he also wrote and produced and was crowned Fiesta SATX Film Festival King.   

 

As King and Queen they were able to make appearances at some of the annual Fiesta San Antonio events around town during the eleven day festival representing the festival and their respective films.
